Bio

8 years of formal art training took me from Portsmouth College of Art in England and Grays School of Art in Scotland to a Master's degree in Sculpture at the University at Albany, State University of New York.

My drawings, book projects, and sculptures have been shown at The Drawing Center, The Sculpture Center, Artists Space and The Center for Book Arts in New York City. Installation projects have been shown at the Dieu Donné Gallery in New York, the ARC Gallery Raw Space in Chicago, and the Islip Art Museum Project Space on Long Island. Drawings are on view in the Pierogi Gallery flat files in Williamsburg, Brooklyn.  One of my books is now in the Museum of Modern Art/ Franklin Furnace/ Artist Book Collection.

I teach studio art and currently hold the position of Chair of the Art, Design, Music, Theatre & Communication Department at SUNY Ulster, Stone Ridge, NY.  My 25+ years of full-time college studio art teaching include West Virginia University, Montserrat College of Art and The New School University.
