An experienced apparel and textile designer and developer, Kristin Flynn brings professional experience into the classroom from working for Nike, Ellen Tracy and Liz Claiborne.
As a Lead Designer for athletic apparel, Flynn specialized in technical track and field uniforms and designed the USA track and field uniform for the Barcelona Summer Olympics. She also headed Nike’s Color Team and worked extensively with Nike’s European design division.
Flynn has been a knit designer for Ellen Tracy and Liz Claiborne in New York, and worked extensively in Hong Kong, Taiwan and Seoul for both fashion brands.
In addition, she taught full-time at Marist College’s fashion program and has been a visiting design critic at Otis Parsons fashion program in Los Angeles. She holds a bachelor’s in Fashion Design from Parsons School of Design and an associates in Textiles from Rochester Institute of Technology.
